First day of school pizza.
This little corner of my website is where I collect things from the everyday goings-on in my life. It’s a chronicle, exhibit, and junk-drawer all at once. I have not had a social media profile in quite a few years now, so this part of my website fills a similiar purpose to what those places did for me in years past.
First day of school pizza.
These sweaty nights are unpleasant. I’m looking forward to autumn.
I’ve lived here for nine months and I’m still not used to the sounds this house makes.
Hacking at five in the morning.
It’s too hot here to want to do much of anything.
My mind has been such a jumble lately. The things I need to do and the things I want to get done keep stacking on top of each other, higher and higher, a Jenga tower that feels one nudge from going over.
And it’s back to packing lunches, if only for a week. School starts in about a month, and I’m dreading the routine already.
Keeping this house in order feels like its own full-time job.
Another weekend gone already.
A middle-of-the-night interruption, then back to sleep and out until 7:00am for once. Turns out maybe sleeping on the floor in a dusty old house isn’t the healthiest thing in the world.
If I could go back in time, I would buy the previous owners of my house a tape measure.
I’m going to need to start getting into pottery to offset all of the ceramic stuff that I’ve been breaking around here lately.
