Routine
One must imagine Sisyphus happy.
My life is currently in the midst of being completely uprooted. The routine is very liquid at the moment and changes on a whim. A day starts by waking up, without an alarm, around four. After quieting the house so I don’t wake anyone else, I grind and brew coffee and make my way up to the atelier. I try to write a bit on paper before turning on a computer and exposing my mind to the distractions of the rest of the world.
An ideal regular weekday looks something like this:
| Time | Task |
|---|---|
| 04:00 | Wake up |
| 04:05 | Make coffee, turn on the computer |
| 04:15 | Pack school lunches |
| 04:45 | Bookkeeping, email, make-up time for work |
| 05:45 | Breakfast for first kid |
| 06:15 | Shower |
| 06:50 | Walk first kid to school, morning walk |
| 07:45 | Breakfast for second kid |
| 08:15 | Walk second kid to the bus stop |
