Things I Stopped Self-Hosting (And Why Cloud or Managed Won)

I’ve been feeling the time burden lately with all of the services I’ve been hosting. I hate renting everything, but I’m also feeling an intense need to get some of my time back.

Hello there! I’m Jeremy Boles (me@jeremyboles.com) and I’ve been a computer programmer for over twenty-five years now and also a father for fourteen. These days I’m building a suite of focused apps—starting with Napkin, a notepad calculator that reads like you write. I currently live in one of the many cities within the United States called Springfield—mine’s in Southwest Missouri. My interests are legion and include travel, cooking, tinkering with computers, music, walks in the woods, writing, old video games, and hanging out with my two kids.
