I like to watch this video every once in a while to remind myself that there was once a time when we thought about how humans interact with computers. We used to put a lot of thought into how computers exist to support a human’s interests. Now it often feels like computers exist to make money for evernyone other than the human using the computer.

Hello there! I’m Jeremy Boles (me@jeremyboles.com) and I’ve been a computer programmer for over twenty-five years now and also a father for fourteen. These days I’m building a suite of focused apps—starting with Napkin, a notepad calculator that reads like you write.
