Estes Park
A tourist town in the Colorado mountains, at 2,300 meters.
Estes Park sits in a valley in Larimer County, Colorado, 2,300 meters above sea level, and is rightly known for its views of the Continental Divide and Lumpy Ridge.
Coffee
My friend Kevin owns the place, so I’m biased, but my favorite coffee in town is Inkwell & Brew. Hard to beat a cortado by the river, surrounded by journals and writing implements.
Markets
Skip the large Safeway in the middle of town and go to the Country Market. I found everything we needed to eat well there, and avoided the hordes of tourists at the chain store.
